Our Mission Statement
GABEO'S mission is to promote and protect the quality of life of racial/ethnic minority communities and other organizations, by preventing the development of discriminatory laws and practices injurious to optimal quality of life and well-being.

To provide leadership in transforming the quality of life for racial/ethnic minority communities and others organizations.
Our Guiding Principles
Georgia Association of Black Elected Officials' strength is in its ability to work across multiple sectors tuning unified approaches that encompass, but not limited to the following: prevention, diversity promotion/education, service delivery, research and evaluation, and partnerships to meet the needs of racial and ethnic minority communities. Eliminate disparities, and ensure cultural competence in service delivery using a unified approach..
1. Racial/Ethnic Disparities Elimination. We are Committed to the elimination of disparities for racial/ethnic minority communities and other organizations through the advancement of policy, data, research, programs and other methods that address socioeconomic determinates of the quality of life.
2. Capacity Building. We seek to build the capacity of national, state and local government, and communities and other organizations in innovative ways to address minorities' quality of life disparity issues.
